Rap-daddy Bad Taste Raven!

The moral of this story:  E-mail your friends instead of calling on the phone. I telephoned my friend,  a Harlem English teacher, to invite her to the Poe show (at a Lancaster Cty. winery.)  The conversation went something like this:

Me:  Would you like to come out to visit the weekend we're going to the Poe show and go along?

Her:  A "po' show"?  What in the devil is a po' show?  I think that's in really bad taste!

Me:  You do teach English literature, don't you?  You know--Edgar Allan Poe.

PF replies: That's not so bad... maybe a Po' show at a winery is in bad taste though... or not! Ol' Edgar ain't no *hic*.... ;-)
